MHC Student Intern

Samantha is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from St John Fisher University. She has an undergraduate degree from SUNY Geneseo in psychology. Her therapy approach involves creating a safe space for clients to feel comfortable at their own pace. Samantha believes it is a privilege to be able to hear client’s stories and loves joining with them to create a life they desire. She uses a person centered and strength-based approach to support the client and highlight strengths they already possess. When she is not in school or in session, she enjoys baking elaborate cakes, reading and all things skincare. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeff and wrangling her two young boys (which involves lots of snacks and dirt!)
