We're SO excited to meet you!
Teagan graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a degree in Business Administration, and went on to work in advertising locally and in New York City. Having always had an interest in psychology and mental health, Teagan relocated to Rochester and pursued a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from St. John Fisher. Teagan is now formally making the jump from the business world to the Peace Project so that she can step into her professional purpose of being a therapist. Teagan believes that we get the most out of therapy when we work on our thoughts and how we treat our body (e.g. movement and nutrition). She also wants to become certified in EMDR to further enhance her therapy skills and to assist others in processing
trauma. In her spare time, Teagan likes to swing kettlebells, snowboard, and go on adventures with her partner, Dave, and their two dogs, Doc and Maisie. Her happy place is the mountains of Colorado!
Rachel graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and continued her education through the University of Rochester where she received her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. She is currently practicing as a LMHC (licensed mental health counselor) and has enjoyed working with children, adolescents, and families in her therapy work. In her spare time, Rachel loves spending time with her family and her dog Toby. Rachel is excited to join Peace Project!
